Not so long ago three girls named Isabel, Claudia and Sofia they were going to Paris for a 4 week holiday. Isabel and Claudia got to take a friend. Isabel’s friend’s name is Eden and Claudia friend’s name is Paris.

 It was the day they were going to Paris. When they got on the plane Isabel and Eden sat together and Claudia and Paris sat together. Sofia sat with her mum and dad. Isabel and Eden played on Eden’s Ipad and Claudia and Paris played on Paris’ Ipad.

When they landed in Paris Sofia said’’ I am so happy to be in Paris”. Isabel said” We are so lucky to be here’’ When they got in the hotel Isabel, Eden, Claudia and Paris had a room together. Sofia slept with her mum and dad.

It was time for bed so they all hoped into bed and fell strate asleep. When they woke up they went and got some breakfast near the Eiffle tower. Paris said “the Eiffle tower’’ Then Claudia said “We are finally here’’ then Isabel said ‘’Let’s climb to the top of the Eiffle tower by the stairs’’.

When they got up to the top Paris and Claudia got scared and ran to the bottom of the Eiffle tower. When they got to their hotel everyone went to sleep.

Once upon a time there was a father giraffe with his three tall giraffes. The giraffes grew so tall that they had to leave the small zoo and build themselves their own bigger zoo.

The three giraffes set off. Soon they met a tiger with some straw. The first tall giraffe took the straw and built a zoo of straw for himself. The second tall giraffe met a tiger with sticks. He built his zoo with sticks.

The third tall giraffe was afraid that the lion might blow his zoo down, so he built his zo of bricks.

The next day a lion appeared. He blew down the zoo of straw. Then he blew down the zoo of sticks, but he could not blow down the zoo of bricks.

Suddenly the lion got an idea. He climbed on the wall. Meanwhile the third tall giraffe put on a pot of soup on the fire to boil. The lion began to come down a slide. Into the pot fell the lion with a big SPLASH!!!!

That was the end of the greedy lion and the giraffes lived together happily ever after in the zoo of bricks.

In the early years of the colony, very few settlers came to Australia. Free Settlers had to fund their own transport and were usually quite wealthy.

It was not until the 1820s and 1830s, when New South Wales was settled further inland, that farmers began to flourish.

Most Free Settlers came from countries like Scotland, England, Ireland and Europe. People from Scotland and England had decided to sail to Australia were small farmers who had lost their land in their own country. People who didn’t have jobs, or a home alsocame to Australia Another reason why the English left their country was because the cities were over crowed and dirty.

It was hard for people to get some work so they went to Australia for a new job and a new life.

Today is the day of my grand final. I am so EXCITED. In my team are Alana, Zoe, Monique, Emerson, Georgie, Adele, Laura, Maggie and me. (Grace) I play at St Mary’s netball courts.

The game was about to start we had to get our pensions.  I was GA, Maggie was C, Georgie was GS, Adele was WA, Emerson was WD, Alana was GD, and Monique was GK. The game was starting but Alana fell over and grassed her knee.

What were we going to do? Adele thought to call Laura and Zoe if they could come and play but they were in London together on a ten week holiday. Luckily Alana said that she could still play so she got on the court. It was our first centre in the fourth quarter Maggie had the ball and passed it to Adele and Adele passed it to Georgie and Georgie passed to…….

Me my player was defending me I was waiting for the right time I throw the ball up we had 2 seconds everyone was watching. I just hoped it went in but it missed luckily Georgie grabbed it and quickly throw it and she got the winning goal.

Our team ran up to Georgie and  gave her a big huge. We had won the grand final!!!! We had the Presentation and Georgie got the best on court.
